    Primary Responsibilities

    The overall focus is to support the marketing department in administrative and promotional areas. The position serves as the admin communication conduit between marketing and all other departments. Product data input into the mainframe computer and product data retrieval and assessment for management are focus areas.     Essential Functions

    • Work with Director of Marketing, Marketing Team Lead and Brand Development Managers to prepare and complete retail trade promotions, launch presentations, sell sheets and sample distribution in a timely fashion.
    • Maintain current Marketing information on Intranet.
    • Maintain ECCNet (GS1) registration and information and obtain scan certificates.
    • Assist with vendor Monthly MCBs.
    • Assist in the preparation, and publication of price increase with proper supportive documentation.
    • Coordinate trade show meeting schedules and data compilation for external trade shows.
    • Coordinate and assist in organizing internal trade shows.
    • Gather product market research data, conduct retail price audits and store checks.
    • Prepare and distribute all reports for management assessment.
    • Maintain Product data information on the AS400, as it relates to new item setup, pricing, marketing and nutritional information, stewardship, attributes, allergens, ecology, trade deals, vendor deals and high-resolution photos.
    • Provide administrative support to the Marketing Director, Marketing Team Lead and Brand Development Managers.
    • Maintain good attendance, safe work practices and maintain safeguards of confidential company information.
    • Other duties and special projects as requested.

    Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude

    • University or College degree in business/marketing preferred.
    • Minimum of three (3) years in an administration role.
    • Proficiency with MS Office required and AS400 preferred, COGNOS preferred.
    • Excellent grammar, verbal and writing skills and fluent in English.
    • Must be results-driven, resourceful and well organized with an ability to work on multiple projects and strict deadlines with minimal supervision.
    • Above average telephone skills with experience focusing on customer satisfaction.
    • High energy level, excellent interpersonal skills, ability to get along with diverse personalities, tactful, and flexible.
    • Must keep all personnel and department matters confidential.
